Firsts are always difficult yet so interesting. You get the sense of excitement, still you are unable to shut that little voice in your head that says, you are not ready for this, you are not prepared…
But you have made the decision and it helps a lot if you have someone to push you through the beginning.

So it began. A 3 hour long ride at the biggest traffic of the day, the unexpected rain 20 minutes after leaving the parking lot and a lifetime of obsession with motorcycle touring.
By the time we completed the 119 km to the destination we’ve had 4 stops, my hands were shaking for being too tight on the handle bar and I was unable to sit any longer on any seat.
The owner of the apartment house offered us some shots and the area is famous for it’s wine and traditional food preparation processes, so we headed towards the restaurant the old guy pointed us to.

We’ve spent the evening talking about our experience on the bike that day and how we thought we could improve our riding.
To be completely honest it did not help that much, on the road back was still anxious and nervous to arrive home safely.
We started researching ways to improve ourselves, that’s when we came across Keith Code’s Cornering Bible.
It was still a long way until we started the proper training sessions, but we started improving our corners.
